Sub Machine

WHO?

Sub Machine are piano / minimalism / electronic / progressive from Sheffield, UK

Led by multi-instrumentalist and singer, Mark Day, Sub Machine defies convention, moving between electro, prog, alt rock, and pop. The debut album "a message from your future self" was released in 2019, to big acclaim and small streaming numbers. Their follow up EP "Queen of Sunshine, King of Moon" explored a more electronic sonic landscape; it was recorded during lockdown, and released in 2021. In 2022 they formed a 4 piece to gig songs from the album and EP, headlining Sheffield's iconic Leadmill.
